woah, its been a bit since one of these! sorry about that - the recordings from my camera were so big that non-hardware accelerated VEGAS was mostly crushed by them. ive updated, though, and its much easier to deal with them now!
next up is the cassette release of ♞, or KNIGHT. this version has some major differences from the digital release, including using the Aurastys remix of ❤❤❤ (TRIPLE HEART), which was actually originally written for this before it got its own release on an ON.TRAX volume. another major cahnge is MY H☢T WIRES having an extended intro (pretty much an entire track added before it). im sure there are a couple other minor things here and there, but those are the big ones.
next up on the list is the hyi about / i cant wait... vinyl release!

μLSOUND Virtual Chipset specifications:

• Mono or stereo 8-bit samples up to 32khz
• 32kb max size per sample
• Basic sample looping (no bi-directional looping)
• No automated envelopes or sample reverse functions
• No sample interpolation
• Maximum music size (samples+sequencing per track) 256kb
• 16-bit 44.1khz stereo output")

the 2YR vinyl release doesnt differ a ton, but is explicit in the way that it does: it has a new title to reflect the new total playtime (approximately, based on the digital masters, obviously this can differ in the analog world) as things have been shuffled around to fit on a single 12 without sacrificing any fidelity in a serious way. Wasnt All There sees a major change, with the middle part missing (used as the side a/b intermission) and having the second half be replaced with the original version of Crystal, previously heard in the pregap of the CD version.
other than that, its mostly reworking the master to be format-compatible, so shrinking certain frequencies stereo image and expanding others to compensate. overall im thrilled with how this one came out, it sounds excellent. i orignially didnt know about putting this one to an analog medium for all its phase quirkiness (as well as introducing a break halfway through) but am glad i pursued it.

not really sure where to put this, so here it goes. this is an improv piece i laid down after stepping outside and seeing that everything had been covered in a layer of ice. really beautiful, but cold enough that i was only willing to spend a few minutes outside getting footage.
