the 2YR vinyl release doesn't differ a ton, but is explicit in the way that it does: it has a new title to reflect the new total playtime (approximately, based on the digital masters, obviously this can differ in the analog world) as things have been shuffled around to fit on a single 12" without sacrificing any fidelity in a serious way. "Wasn't All There" sees a major change, with the middle part missing (used as the side a/b intermission) and having the second half be replaced with the original version of "Crystal", previously heard in the pregap of the CD version.
other than that, it's mostly reworking the master to be format-compatible, so shrinking certain frequencies' stereo image and expanding others to compensate. overall i'm thrilled with how this one came out, it sounds excellent. i orignially didn't know about putting this one to an analog medium for all its phase quirkiness (as well as introducing a break halfway through) but am glad i pursued it.
