I wrote this song a few years back. It's about the tiny dairy-farming town of Cloverdale, Oregon that I grew up in/near. Back in, 2010 (I think it was) there was a fire in the auto shop in town which took out a couple of buildings. Cloverdale is so tiny that it was like half the town, haha. One of said buildings was the adjacent local fire hall... (no one was hurt, fyi)
It's also about growing up around there and wandering the halls of the high school, harassing people to listen to my band, haha. I have a tender fondness for the area around Cloverdale and for just how green and beautiful everything is. It really is a one of a kind place.

I smell the smell of livestock wafting gently 'pon the breeze

All the mountains are covered in trees
