I hope you guys like sleepy guitar music because I made more sleepy guitar music. I keep doing these so that there's at least SOMETHING keeping a faint pulse on my channel while I'm working on my album. I know most of you folks are here for VGM stuff, but I've been on a tangent lately. I think I'm going to do one of those "walking through the woods" videos soon to update you on the direction my channel and my music are going.
I keep saying the the album is almost done, but it really is this time. They put me on a project at my real job back in early Feb which meant a lot less hours to work on music so I've been quite busy. But things are calming down and I'll have a big chunk of time to hopefully get it done around the end of the month. In the coming weeks I'll do an official announcement and I'll hopefully get it to you guys in the first half of April. I'll be sending out bandcamp download codes to my Patreon supporters when it's ready.
As for "Hemlock", this was one of the more difficult original guitar pieces I've done. That section in the middle where I'm plucking two strings simultaneously was a lot harder than it looks. I'm dubbing that method of picking "Mr. Krabs style". It was fun putting this together though and I especially dig the visuals in this one. It was pretty chilly out and my fingers were freezing, but it was worth it. I did notice, upon reviewing the footage, that my tripod had shifted to the right just a bit in the wide shot so it's slightly off-center. Oh well... The tuning I used for this is and open A major with the low-E string tuned down to D.
