Alright, time to start giving you guys some sneak previews of what I'm working on for the next album. Most of the songs are more upbeat and chirpy, but to ease you in from my usual material, here's a darker and slower one called "Lafayette". Enjoy!

Grew number by the hour
The distance aches and slowly makes her
Weak and overpowered
We all fall, we fall
Aimless walks through empty blocks
Devoid of rhyme or reason
Days blow by before her eyes
And soon the air is freezing

So she awoke, with a gasp and a choke
And the room was still spinning around
She collected her thoughts, that were shrouded in frost
As she slowly returned to the ground
It's only a day, and she'll be on her way
And her loneliness sleeps like a lamb
And it won't rear its head, till she's back in her bed
And she's slowly repeat to herself
That "I'm not alone, I'm lonely, but I'm not alone
I'm not on my own, but you're just a voice on the phone.
And try as I may, I just can't find a way
To make this house a home."
