In the study of biblical prophecy, it is important to understand that what has happened in the past will be repeated in the future in detailed and identifiable ways. With all of this in mind, we come to the story of Joseph. Joseph is the best example of an allegory of the life and ministry of Christ found in the pages of the Old Testament. Joseph typifies, or is an intentionally divinely appointed picture of Jesus in so many ways. Hated by his brothers, he was sold for 20 shekels of silver, only to become the governor of Egypt and savior of his father's household. This four part series covers every aspect of Joseph's life and compares even the smallest detail with a similar aspect in the life of Christ. It has been said that there are over a hundred comparisons between Joseph and Jesus. Furthermore, Joseph is an integral and important hidden part of prophecy concerning the last days and a global city called Mystery Babylon mentioned in Revelation 17 and Revelation 18.
