Happy 4th of July! Here is the first of three suites for solo bagpipe based on United States patriotic tunes that are playable on the Great Highland Bagpipe (not all famous patriotic tunes are playable on the bagpipe for various reasons). Each tune is provided in the style of a traditional Scottish form with variations. Here is a slow air and a 4-parted 2/4 march.
