Jonathan Bailey announced his departure from Sunday in the Park With George less than a month after his Wicked costar Ariana Grande exited the musical: “My support for her is unwavering.” The 38-year-old Bridgerton actor had been set to play artist George Seurat opposite Grande, 33, as Dot in the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s beloved musical, which is still planned for a fall 2027 London debut. Bailey said he made the decision after “much consideration,” while the production confirmed work on the show would continue. Grande’s rep previously told E!
