The Lakes International Comic Art Festival is taking place from Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October 2023, in Bowness-on-Windermere, in the beautiful Lake District!
Celebrating the amazing world of comic artists, creators and writers, the weekend festival brings together the biggest names and rising stars of the comic art universe.
Our 11th festival is once again in Bowness-on-Windermere, within the heart of the Lake District National Park from 29 September to Sunday 1 October.
The world of comic art is a diverse and spectacular place, bursting with creations that transport us to other dimensions and stories that explore the world and our place within it. Come along and find out how comics can change the world at the Lakes International Comic Art Festival!
We’ll be joined by comic artists and creators from the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, the US and beyond in Bowness-on-Windermere.
Our events will include live draws, interviews, presentations, workshops, exhibitions, book launches, signings, family-friendly Little LICAF activities and a huge FREE Comics Marketplace... providing a chance to get up close to the best comic creators in the world!
