B-side of "The Customary Thing", a non-charting single (in Billboard) originally released in January 1960. This is a rock and roll remake of a ballad song which was originally a #1 hit in 1953; in the US for Frankie Laine and in the UK for David Whitfield. Another wonderful version by Nat King Cole became a #6 Pop hit in the US in 1954. Yet another fantastic version by Ray Peterson charted at #47 in the UK in 1960. The Happenings bubbled under the Hot 100 at #115 in 1970 with a new remake, and Barbara Dickson charted at #9 in the UK in 1976 with still another.
Recorded in 1959. This Johnny Rivers single was re-released on a different label in 1964 and didn't chart then either.
