Always a treat for me when my friend and drum teacher, John Hoffman (check him out on Insta and YouTube!) comes over and plays my Gretsch drums!!!!
Gretsch USA Custom in Black Nitron. 12, 13, 14, 18. The snare is a essentially a modern day Gretsch Max Roach model in Satin Rosewood (one of only two made). The cymbals are all Zildjian: The hi hats are 1960s pre-New Beat 14”, the ride is a 22” Constantinople Light, the sizzle crash is a 1960s 19” Medium Ride.

Here is my version of this very popular devotional Hindu song. I own probably 80 or so recordings of this one song alone. Ive always loved this melody and decided to finally make an arrangement of it, composing the accompaniment and performing each part. (Total of seven tracks were used). I will probably make some additional changes in the arrangement and may record it again. Anyway, this is how it stands right now. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for listening!

Miller-Bach trumpet (after 1930s Bach Strad), Laskey 65-MC mouthpiece, micd with Royer R-122 ribbon microphone, into modified PreSonus pre-amp (1950s RCA tube, w/ MUCH! tube saturation), into Tascam DP-008, mixed onboard the Tascam then gently reverberated at the DAW. Yamaha keyboard used for string and percussion tracks.
