The Joby Gorillapods are very much the standard for on the go filming and I've been using them for a very long time! They are my go to tripods when I want to travel light with my Sony cameras and with the added flexibility of bendable legs to wrap around trees and poles and very much anywhere where the legs can wrap around, it becomes a versatile stand for my camera.
