Adopt an Orphaned Elephant!
One of my assistants, Kat, and I visited the Sheldrick Wildlife Nursery in Nairobi and their Reintegration Unit in Tsavo National Park. It was pure magic to spend so many days in close proximity to the elephants. And, I am excited to introduce them to you through the Sheldrick website, where you will choose which orphaned elephant you’d like to adopt.
Over the last 40 years, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has developed an extensive, multi-faceted approach to conservation. With anti-poaching measures from the air and on foot, as well as mobile veterinary units, they safeguard the natural environment and are able to provide immediate assistance to wild animals in need. Their renowned Orphans’ Project rescues orphaned baby elephants, rhinos and other wild species across Kenya, so that they might enjoy a life back in the wild when grown.
