--- A trove of previously unreleased songs recorded by American music icon J.J. Cale during his early, and arguably most influential, years will at long last be released. Featuring vintage tracks from Cale's legendary tenures at Shelter Records and Mercury Records, Rewind: Unreleased Recordings' will be in stores on October 2nd.
In this clip J.J. Cale performs "Since You Said Goodbye acoustically (recorded specifically for this clip July 2007 in Escondido, CA) after which part of the original recording from "Rewind" is heard. Highlight of the track is Mac Gayden's electric "wah" slide guitar sound, which he also used on Cale's first Hot 100 hit "Crazy Mama."
