I hope you enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the creation process of this necklace, which I recently designed and made for a special custom order.
I used both wire-wrapping and metalwork techniques, as well as a custom shaped wire-wrap setting for a beautiful London Blue Topaz heart-cut gemstone. This one definitely pushed me to my limits; I had over 6 hours of footage and didn't even record all the work!

All wires used were sterling silver from RioGrande.com. SS findings (metal beads, clasp, chain, etc.) also purchased at Rio Grande.

My Pickling Setup:
I use pickle from RioGrande.com Have also used this amzn.to/2TTQOAr and it works very well.
Pickle pot (my exact one is no longer available, but it’s just a 16-ounce crockpot. You can purchase a pickle pot in a set with pickle and tongs here: amzn.to/3aXJIAC )

To protect my surface, I set my pot on a free tile sample from Home Depot, with a silicone hot pad underneath. Probably overkill, though :)
My Tumbler:
Lortone 3A Rotary Tumbler: amzn.to/2TURi9s
loaded with 2lbs of steel jeweler’s shot: amzn.to/2w20f7Z
I just load the tumbler with the shot, add my jewelry item/s, fill halfway with warm water, add a drop of dawn dish soap, seal it up and tumble for 30-minute intervals until I reach my desired polish.
