Named after the food capital of South Korea, Jeun Ju Restaurant is a nearly 40 year old establishment carrying on the tradition set by its current owner's mother. Located in Murray Hill, Queens' Food Alley at 40-11 150th St, Flushing, NY 11354, this restaurant really lives up to its namesake!
In the final episode of New York Chronicles: The Asian American Small Business Journey, we pay homage to the legacy businesses run by multiple generations of Asian Americans. From a tofu shop, Malaysian-Taiwanese fusion restaurant, and a Korean eatery, these businesses hold not just family stories but also immigration and American histories.
