Marilyn from Tarot Clarity | Jeu de Cartes Au Portrait De Paris by Artisan Tarot @MarilynFromTarotClarity | Uploaded October 2023 | Updated October 2024, 15 minutes ago.
A review of the Jeu de Cartes au Portrait de Paris by the folks over @ArtisanTarot.
This is a historic playing card deck from 1735 to 1751
Of course I did mess up again at the end of the video and it never recorded my final comments which were that when cards traveled from country to country, conventions changed. We see that when comparing tarot decks all the time. Here is part 2 for this video: youtu.be/C_arILs-X6E?si=cjWwAHifjfjJ8VnU
It's interesting to see how subtle changes occurred in the 100 years between this creation of this deck in Paris and the American deck I showed in comparison.
I will be doing a demonstration reading using these cards in my next video which will be in a few days because I'm having total hip replacement surgery tomorrow.
