We are delighted to share with you the highlights video from our JET Celebration Day event, held earlier this year at Culham Campus.
The event, dedicated to the success of JET – a world famous fusion energy experimental facility – and the people behind it, was attended by dignitaries, scientists, engineers, and other individuals who had worked at JET through the ages.
JET concluded its scientific operations at the end of December 2023 after 40 years. Until then, it was the largest operational and only tokamak in the world to use deuterium and tritium fuel. Its contributions to fusion science and engineering have played a crucial role in accelerating the development of fusion energy, which promises to be a safe, low carbon and sustainable part of the world’s future energy supply.
