Renner also shared a close-up photo of his Hawkeye costume on Instagram without any caption, immediately sending fans into speculation mode. What makes this genuinely interesting is that back in October 2025, Renner flat-out said “No” when directly asked if he was in Doomsday or Secret Wars, even joking that Marvel could replace him with a Hawkeye variant if they wanted to. He’s also confirmed to reprise Clint Barton for the upcoming Avengers Infinity Defense ride at Disney California Adventure, so some of this teasing could be tied to that instead.
Honestly, everybody’s gonna be back for Secret Wars at this point, so this doesn’t really surprise me. He’s definitely gonna be back in some form.
