To Jennifer it means community, unity and freedom.

Dr Jennifer Otter Bickerdike is a cultural historian and author, working across music heritage, fandom, broadcast and academia.

Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Jen spent time at a variety of record companies. Jen’s strong links with 3rd Wave ska, the musical successor to 2 Tone, makes her the perfect guest curator for the exhibition’s Legacy section.
