US Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance has insinuated that his political rivals label everything as racist, even certain beverage choices. While speaking about voter ID laws at a rally in Virginia, he told the audience, 'If you're going to cast a ballot, show a piece of identification.'

He added, 'Democrats say that it is racist. Well, they say it's racist to do anything. I had a diet Mountain Dew yesterday and one today and I'm sure they're going to call that racist, too. But, it's good.'
