Hello, friends! Iβm coming to you with another travel vlog and I know - itβs been a while! I want to tell you how much I love editing vlogs if only to arrive at the finished product, which are the videos you all get to see. The grueling part is getting started. Sorting out all the clips, finding the right music to go with each moment, cutting, coloring, captioning, adding all the little flourishes, etc. Thatβs the hard part, and it takes many, many hours. But I pour my heart into every vlog because itβs such a unique thing getting to revel in the experiences of travel and having the chance to relive them again through the process of weaving these moments together. I hope you appreciate my little works of art, no matter how personal.
For the holidays of 2019, I (again) went to Japan but this time with my big family. My uncles, aunts, cousins, and nieces all flew in together and we had a little over two weeks to enjoy our time. In this vlog are some of our memories, collected. So many stories, blunders, and laughs shared among us.
To close this adventure, Part 2 will be coming to you when I get to it - possibly near the end of the month. It will be our snow adventures in Hokkaido, and I canβt wait to share that again with you all. I hope that January 2020 has treated you well, despite the mixed bag of news that keeps coming our way.
