Last Aug 23, I opened for PARAMORE for their Tour Four here in Manila. What happened after was an INSANE rollercoaster of emotions.
1) Hayley Williams posted a video of my soundcheck on her instastories and TAGS me
2) Hayley watched our entire soundcheck and had a chat with Josh and I at the side of the stage. She told us that our voices worked so well together and that we sounded so good and KJHNSAKJ!!! We took selfies, of course!
3) Hayley gives me a SHOUTOUT in the middle of their set and compliments my performance on stage HUHU
I wanted to share with you everything that I was feeling before and after the performance, so I hope you can appreciate the honesty and rawness of this vlog. The nerves and pressure felt very real to me, but I didn't want that to take over and eat me alive. I just hope that I was able to make some people happy with my music and my performance.
What an absolutely huge opportunity to be able to share a moment with one of women who has shaped the global music industry. Hayley has given many women the hope and the heart to pursue a fervent passion for music. She's blessed with such a humble heart and an amazing talent. I am nothing but honored.
Thank you to MMI, the Paramore team, my management, Josh, my friends and family who all shared this milestone with me. Now I share this story with you as well.
