I used Samsung S-630 to see how it can capture video from a Cathode Ray Tube TV set (a 1991 21-inch GE (Thomson) Stereo TV). This video was from a DVD+RW where I recorded something off of the Discovery Channel. Back then, the EAS would display white text on a red background (I don't think they do that anymore).
