Here is a very rare video of a young 14 year old Jan Hoffmann skating a brilliant freeskate at the 1970 Europeans that were held at the Yubileyny Sports Palace in Leningrad, now St Petersburg. Despite his tender years this was actually his third Europeans. Frau Muller was very pleased with his efforts!
There are sound issues with this video which I apologise for but it is such a rare recording - we have never sen anything surface from this event before - that I hope you will be able to forgive it.
