I'm brand new to artists such as Jean Michael Jarre and Tangerine Dream, and the "Berlin school" synth composition techniques. I still don't know how it is defined, but in my research it seems to stem from short sequence ostinatos and wide open soundscapes. There are three voices in this patch, a square wave bass voice running through a ping-pong tape delay, a saw wave treble voice running through a reverb (and some extra lfo modulation thrown into the mix), and a string pad running through a phaser and reverb coming in and out like waves. Entrancing, I think!
