Six years ago I saw Jamiah Rogers kick off the 2016 blues fest with a bang.
At the time he was young guitar player who has just passed 21and boy can that cat could play. His style is a hard rockin' blues in the style of Jimi Hendrix or Ernie Isley. He's a showman in the set I saw him he played on one leg behind his back and with his teeth. This year he returned to the 2022 blues fest playing on the big stage. He just returned from a tour of Poland and Germany and in memory of all that traveling he penned this tune entitled "Highways, Freeways, Expressways"
