James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) | James Webb Space Telescope: Ready for Mirror Assembly @NASAWebbTelescope | Uploaded 8 years ago | Updated 9 minutes ago
It's hard to adequately express our excitement at beginning the assembly of the James Webb Space Telescope's mirror. But I think this video will give you an idea. The process of assembling the giant 18-segment JWST primary mirror has begun! You can watch on our "Webbcam" - the biggest views are linked from this page: http://jwst.nasa.gov/webcam.html (though the front page of our site always has the Webbcams embeded). Enjoy!
