Should James Gunn direct Batman: The Brave and the Bold? On paper, it sounds logical — he’s the head of DC Studios and overseeing the entire DCU. But when you actually think about what makes Batman work… I’m not convinced that’s the right move.
In this video, I break down why James Gunn’s very distinct voice might be the last thing Batman needs, why I want the DCU to truly embrace different creative voices, and why Batman shouldn’t feel like Guardians of the Galaxy in a cape.
