The Jaguar Type 00 is a concept electric vehicle introduced by Jaguar as part of its rebranding strategy. This two-door coupé features a long hood and fastback roofline, drawing inspiration from iconic models like the E-Type. Its design emphasizes sharp lines and a "strikethrough" motif, evident in both the front grille and rear taillights.
The interior showcases innovative materials, including a travertine stone plinth supporting the seats and brass elements running the length of the cabin. A notable feature is the use of "totems" made from materials like brass and alabaster; when inserted into the center console, they adjust ambient lighting, scents, and soundscapes to personalize the driving experience.
While the Type 00 itself is not slated for production, it provides a glimpse into Jaguar's future design language as the brand transitions to an all-electric lineup. The first production model, a four-door grand tourer, is expected to launch in late 2026, aiming for a range of approximately 430 miles.
