Rioting is one of RuneScape’s oldest traditions. For nearly twenty years, players have protested everything from game breaking updates to one pixel changes. But before any of that, there was one riot that started it all. Led by some of RuneScape’s top clans, rioters crashed a secret Jagex staff meeting demanding the company finally listen to them after years of being ignored. Not everyone there came to help, though. One of RuneScape’s most hated clans showed up to sabotage it. So was the riot a success, or was it a total disaster? This is the story of RuneScape’s first riot and the frustrated clan leader who started it.
