Jacobus Witbooi, 16 December 1988 - 24 November 2016. Jacobus was the African Coordinator for Pan Africa ILGA at the time of his death. A resilient young LGBTIQ activist, born in Namibia moved to South Africa as PAI's first employee. Sadly, he contracted malaria while he attended the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights in the Gambia. He is sorely missed by a community across that loved him dearly. RIP Jacobus. We will all continue to build on your legacy.
