New Zealand’s National Film Unit presents 'Jack Winters Dream' (1979)
In the depression of the 1930's an old and ailing Jack Winter still tramps the goldfields which he knew in his prime, half century before. Like him, the fields are played out. But as he sleeps in the ice-cold ruins of a deserted tavern, men and women from the past come crowding in, and Jack Winter dreams a final dream of gold and murder.
