There are two timer freeze strats already, safer strat in basement and faster strat in boss room: youtu.be/7NgiMiz5uP0
For faster strat, you need 20s at least when you entered pre boss room, so this timer freeze strat would be useful in case that you have enough time not to use safer strat but timer is less than 20s when you entered pre boss room
(EDIT1) actually ground clip is faster than boss room strat: youtu.be/HeH2211Sx0s
(EDIT2) you can get in water after clip and can wait if you have much time: youtu.be/xa8bc4rzwZE

Also we had an idea to use damage ground clip for timer freeze but it took more few seconds than megaflip ground clip strat, so megaflip strat should be better: youtu.be/ndlMCbku9Qs
