And I agree with them- I love my bullet journals (don't sue me Rider Strong or whatever your name is guy who does the official bullet journals with the Leuchterm notebooks.

I've been noticing more and more of the accoutrements of bullet journaling. Fun pens, notebook accessories, stickers, washi tape, etc. I've been joyfully collecting and using their stuff for years now. Flying Tiger is one of my favorite places to poke around because you never know what you're going to find. I'm close and personal friends with some of the people who work there. Even though we don't know each others names and I only see them when I go in. Basically besties.
This video was especially enjoyable to work on because I got inspired to let my kids get some creative shots and boy did they run with it. They had so much fun and so did I, actually seeing what they did and popping the footage over my face. It was so many files, like 20 minutes worth of footage that they took. I'll definitely be doing that again.
So- bullet "planners". Simple empty books. Do it yourself planners. You make the first two pages the index. You number the pages or get a book where they already are. You track things. Things like goals, presents, emotions, hobbies, illnesses, weather, whatever the heck ya like. You put all your todos, upcoming things, things to remember. You make this book the landing place so you aren't chasing down scribbled down post-its. So your stuff isn't spread across a bunch of digital note taking devices. You let it be a space for doodles and stickers and any other kind of art if that's what you like to do. You let it be gorgeous or you let it be messy and useful. You choose! There's lots of inspo out there, printables, instagrams, facebook groups, youtube videos.
Don't research too much- it's not like it's your last legacy to leave on the planet. Dive in and let it become what is perfect for you, and what is fun and meaningful to look back on in the future.
