What if you’re wrong about the most important thing in your life?
In this sermon from John 20:24–29, we look at the account of Thomas, a man who walked with Jesus, heard His teaching, and still struggled to believe. His story forces us to wrestle with a sobering question:
Have you truly seen Christ for who He is… or are you simply convinced that you have?
Many people, especially in the Bible Belt, assume they are Christians. They have attended church, prayed prayers, been baptized, and affirmed the right things. Yet Scripture makes it clear that it is possible to be near the truth and still be lost.
This message contrasts two kinds of people:
Those who intellectually affirm Christ yet live as if He is not Lord
And those who have truly seen Him, and whose lives have been transformed as a result
The difference is not effort, morality, or religious activity. The difference is whether or not you have truly seen the risen Christ.
If the gospel is not true, then none of this matters.
But if it is true, then everything must change.
