It's Not the Right Time. This is a song my dear, dear friend Rue Miller and I wrote and recorded around 2002. Wow, 20 years ago, time flies! I think it's a perfect song to remember her by. I kept the vocal track and rebuilt the arrangement from the ground up. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I hope you think so too!
Rue was my voice teacher. We became good friends, then co-writers and penned many songs together, including a couple of stage musicals, "Esther!" and "Bubbles." Rue died a few years ago and I wanted to put this song out there for her friends, family and for everyone to remember her in the new year. She was a special talent and the world needs to hear her remarkable voice again. They don't make'em like her anymore! Happy New Year, Rue!!
