This underground-art-film style music video took three days to complete. To get the right look, some of the shots were recorded to an old VCR, and then recorded back onto the video camera tape. The VCR introduced a subtle brightness variation that would sweep across the screen, giving the video a quality I liked. Truth be told, at the time, I couldn't find any camera tape so I recorded directly to VHS. I eventually found camera tape but kept with the VCR technique anyway. All footage was captured onto the computer and then filmed off the monitor. That gave the picture a strange contrast, as well as a nice glowy look. Since, I lack decent editing software, the completion of this video took a great deal longer than it should have. Often, I'd have to export the entire video to see if the edits looked good, for the software I was using didn't always allow proper playback within it. Ugh. Anyway... I'm pleased with the results. I hope you are too.
