That’s right, the voice of Thriller and the guy who used a skeleton puppet to push his wife into a vat of acid is now here to narrate Charles Dickens’ timeless story of redemption. Does this mean that the story will contain more corpses dissolved in acid? It seems unlikely, though that wiener Nephew Fred did have it coming…
Add in a histrionic Scrooge performance and a costume budget approved by the miser himself, and you’ve got one of the stranger renditions of A Christmas Carol we’ve ever seen, which is saying something because we did one that took place entirely inside a branch of a local bank and another where Scrooge spent several minutes watching a televised Jimmy Carter speech.
