Normally when in this glitchy state, you can't target, press A to interact with something, or use items. However, the door opening cutscene keeps the item in your body while you can control Link as normal again. Note that goron pound is very prone to crashing, so have fun recreating this ;)
There's likely more cool and interesting things to be done with this, so feel free to test stuff out. I just wanted to throw a vid up to document.
