Day 4 of 14 Days of Love Behind the Recipes is Italian-style pizza dough (aka the reason Friday night is one of my favorite nights of the week). In our house, it’s homemade pizza night every Friday. It started as a way to save money, but it’s better than takeout and way more fun. I bake the dough on a pizza stone in the oven or throw it in the outdoor pizza oven when the weather’s nice. The toppings change every week, but the crust is always homemade and so easy to make. We’ve been doing this for years now, and it’s become one of those simple, joyful traditions that brings everyone to the kitchen.
