I received this waxed canvas brush wrap as part of a Christmas gift from Fuumuui. I appreciated the high quality of the craftsmanship materials used but it took me a while to figure out how it would suit me since I rarely use a brush roll but I love to have fast sketching kits for watercolor. I used this several times during world watercolor month and the more I used it, the more I loved it! It is a tad on the pricier side at $42.50 currently on 8/3/2026. The most similar roll I could find was the Tall Mini Sendak Artist roll by Peg & Awl at $142. I got out my measuring tape to see the difference between the two wraps (and to make sure I wasn't reviewing a direct copy) and they are close but different, The big difference are the the interior channels for brushes or pens and where I have my palette and bookmark pads. The Sendak tall mini pockets are shallower but wider. The other difference is the back pocket, in the Fuumuui wrap you get one larger open pocket and in the Sendak Tall mini that space is divided so you get the same size pockets as the two larger ones on the inside. I don't own and Peg & Awl products but I hear they are outstanding. I did a search on Etsy and Amazon for similar products and anything coming close to this wrap was over $100 so I now think it is a bargain!

The pros and cons of this wrap are simple. If the layout works for your needs it is a well priced and quality piece of gear. I would recommend seeing if your supplies will fit the pockets before purchasing to ensure you can use it well. As a brush roll I think it would be more than adequate.
