For Middle Tennessee native and life-long Vols fan Drew Beam, pitching for Tennessee Baseball is a dream come true. But he’s the first to tell you that he wouldn’t be here without his family, especially his sister Carlee.
Now a sophomore studying business management, he and his teammates raise awareness about Carlee’s fight with spinal muscular atrophy, and she continues to cheer him on. Between his nearby family, his team, and his professors, UT is the perfect place for Beam to thrive as a student and an athlete and to continue to dream big dreams for what comes next.
