"it is wednesday. the eyes in your skull are not your own" - Gamation
if you've been in the community for a while, chances are you've heard of this map before - it was released in early 2024 and to this day stands out as a very unique level. The Wednesday on the Edge of Forever is an abstract metroidvania styled map, with six different possible endings; there's quite a bit i want to go over regarding this, hopefully with some cohesion
this video showcases four different goldens. the rundown is as follows:
0:00 Any%
0:53 Stratopause FC
21:59 Stratopause Non-FC (Single Dash Route)
26:21 True Ending
as you may have noticed, i said earlier that six different endings are achievable, yet this video only has four runs. why is that? simply put, there's a lot of overlap between a few of the endings, so much so that i did not deem them interesting enough to all have them in the same video. you'd be essentially watching the same thing, except one run is more barebones than the other with very little deviation. i picked out the four runs that i believed differed from each other the most, and were ultimately the most interesting ones to show
another odd thing might be the fact that this video has four runs, but only shows three endings. the stratopause ending is done twice because, ironically enough, stratopause fc and stratopause non-fc actually play wildly differently. non-fc has two route options; the single dash route is the more challenging one and also deviates further from all the other routes, which is why i really wanted to show it here. it's more of a different run entirely, rather than just "stratopause fc but easier". somehow, the fc and non-fc routes for the same ending are more varied than the routes for different endings. wacky
sorry about the framerate drops in some of the more visually intense sections
massive thanks to iambadatvideogamesdotcom (the creator of the map) for fixing some bugs when i was going for the true ending golden, and additional thanks to Cr33pyCat for all of the routing help and advice. this has taken a lot of time and effort, but i'm proud to have finished this project. it is wednesday.

![Celeste Mods: Hard Golden List Compilation
This was originally going to include more runs and was also supposed to release much earlier (7 out of 8 of these runs were done around 3 months ago give or take), but I ended up wanting to focus on harder goldens instead as I found them to be more interesting. After recently finishing SPFC, I wanted to revisit this compilation. I didnt feel like it would be fun to force myself to have ten runs here, so to close it off I did Summit Ballsside as a tier 4 which was fairly challenging (also funni :D), and I think its a satisfying enough ending. These videos have been sitting on my PC forever and Im glad to finally have them posted.
Timestamps/included goldens:
Desolate Tower (Tier 7) 0:00
Ultra Heaven [FC+MB] (Tier 7) 2:41
