Join us, Carol & Ken, as we travel to southwest Scotland in our Consort Nova Motorhome called Snoopy.
In this episode we are in the Glentrool area where we take a walk to the Martyrs’ Tomb and discover its gruesome history. Further along Loch Trool we are blown away by the view and learn about the battle that took place at this very spot in 1307.
The following day we visit the village of Glentrool to walk the Kindness Path which was recommended to us by Jayne who we met at the visitor centre yesterday. She had kindly painted some stones for us to discover along the path ❤️
Our next stop is the town of Newton Stewart, Gateway to the Galloway Hills.
To walk off some of our lunch we walk along the trail to the Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall then the hunt is on for a suitable park up for the night.
