Canada’s world-class attack went to work against the U.S. Virgin Islands in the opening quarter of their 2026 Pan-American Men’s Lacrosse Championship clash in Kingston on Thursday.

After a competitive start from the USVI, Canada broke through midway through Q1 as Thomas McConvey finished off some excellent ball movement. The Canadians continued to find openings through quick passing and backdoor cuts, with Owen Hiltz and Finn Thompson helping Canada build its advantage.

USVI goalkeeper Isaiah Wilson was called into action repeatedly, producing several saves as the Virgin Islands battled to contain the world number two Canadians.
