Israeli political commentator Ori Goldberg argued that Israel’s wars with Iran, Hezbollah, Lebanon, and Gaza are political, pointless, and not really about security.
I strongly disagree.

In this reaction, I break down why Israel is not getting weaker, why the wars against Iran-backed terror groups are not optional, and why pretending Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and Iran are not real threats is detached from reality.
You can criticize Benjamin Netanyahu. You can criticize Smotrich. You can criticize Ben-Gvir. But that does not mean Israel’s enemies disappear. Hezbollah has fired on northern Israel. Iran funds and arms terror groups across the region. Hamas took hostages on October 7th. The Houthis have attacked international shipping and targeted Israel.
So the question is simple: are Israel’s wars “pointless,” or are they necessary because Israel is surrounded by enemies that openly want it destroyed?
In this video, I respond to Ori Goldberg’s claims about Netanyahu, Iran, Hezbollah, Lebanon, Gaza, Israeli weakness, and the left-wing Israeli worldview that treats survival wars like political theater.
