Israel's military has ordered the partial evacuation of a designated humanitarian zone in Gaza, ahead of a planned strike on the city of Khan Younis on Saturday. The evacuation order follows rocket fire that Israel claims originated from the area. Israeli authorities announced plans for an operation against Hamas militants in the city, including parts of Muwasi, where Israel has directed thousands of Palestinians to seek refuge throughout the conflict. The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, known as UNRWA, stated it is increasingly difficult to determine how many people will be affected by the evacuation order, as those sheltering there are constantly being displaced.
