“Island of Summer” by Chris Cornell & Andrew Wood. Written by Cornell and recorded while they were roommates all those years ago. Andrew Wood on vocals do stand out here and Cornell blends his vocals masterfully with Wood’s. For those of you who have not heard this before, the song was released in 2011 in the album “Melodies & Dreams”, a solo album from Andrew Wood featuring unreleased songs - he recorded throughout his life.
