Seattle’s own Jar of Flies and Chicago area musician Brendan Maier (frontman for the band Chout) performed 80+ minutes in the second half of the annual Layne Staley Tribute, on August 24, 2019. The tribute was held at one of the most widely recognized venues in the US - The Crocodile downtown Seattle. There is a cool story in how Brendan made his way across the US to perform in front of hundreds of Layne Staley/Alice In Chains fans. The story includes our involvement and we’re so excited to have played a role in it.
